A charming bookstore, recalling days of yore. The collection is marvelous, and whatever your interest you'll find a book. It's not possible to visit this wonderful place and not buy a book. And you should, to help support this wonderful but declining industry.
Between their organized layout, their cozy corners (with couches / chairs scattered throughout), their book recommendation cards, and their dog - friendly attitude, this is a place you want to visit.
The charm and feel of the Manchester store is not translated well in this Saratoga iteration. It offers fine books, it seems that a Barnes and Noble has more character however, and that's a shame. A small bookstore like this is capable of offering ingenuity in its design, layout and offering. Saratoga Northshire missed the mark.

It's a fun place... For fun people.
I love this bookstore! It is separated into themes, and decorated with purchase items to match the theme; the cooking theme is my favorite. The upstairs is the kids section and also where the bathrooms are located. The people seem friendly. I've purchases several things from there and happy with it all.
Last time I was there I was sitting outside with my golden retriever and someone on staff came running out with dog cookies. I have also seen dogs walking around inside. (:
Terrific bookstore ! Wide ranging selection of books, children's area upstairs, and comfortable chairs for reading a bit of your selection. A store like this makes one wonder why we use Amazon to shave a few bucks. We all need to support our local bookstores!
