Ummm..... start working on that???

Fast forward a day.. I get home from shooting the wedding super late (midnight or so), pick my boyfriend up from the house, stop to top off the gas tank, drive out to the store, and do a key-drop drop off.

They didn't call for my debit card number, so the rental cost is still on my credit card. I know it seems like a petty thing to complain about... but it's bad business practice to say you're going to do something, and then not do it.

Everyone at this office is awesome. They are friendly and truly focus on customer service. I would highly recommend doing business with these folks.

So, we wait for them to bring around the car (because they were "cleaning" it), and no my dismay, the car was filthy*. Sure, it was sopping wet.. but there was still visible dirt all over it, and it wasn't vacuumed or wiped down inside, either.

He quickly noticed the shocked look on my face, and says, "They didn't tell you about the holding fee, did they...?" I tell him, no, they didn't.. and he responded with something like, "Yeah, sorry. They really need to start working on that."

My father and brother were in town visiting me for a week, but I had a wedding to shoot one of the days they were here, so instead of leaving them stranded at the house, I'd decided to rent a car for the wedding and leave them my car to use.

We've been renting from Enterprise for years now, and always have a good experience. Staff is highly professional, kind and accommodating. This last time, we were in a hurry. The car we reserved wasn't detailed yet, but we opted to take it as is. It wasn't that dirty anyway. We highly recommend Enterprise for your rental needs!

So.... as I'm sure you can guess, I won't ever use Enterprise again. I've given them more than enough chances to prove that each incident wasn't just a fluke. Hope this review helps those that are wondering if it's a decent rental company.

Love these guys. I use this location at least once every other month, the reps are very friendly and will work with you to make your rental nice amd affordable.

Last year, I was in a bad accident, and the 4 or 5 times my car was in the shop (because they couldn't pinpoint the problem in my car), the body shop I was using uses Enterprise for rental services, and every time I got one from them, it was a different issue. One example was when I reserved an SUV, paid for an SUV, and they picked me up (half an hour late) in a minivan. When I explained that I'd reserved an SUV, they said. "Well, the ballet is in town and they took all the SUV's."

The next day, my brother and I go to the Saratoga Springs location to pick up my rental, and as I'm pulling out my credit card, the gentleman that was helping us says, "That'll be $313.85." (or something very close to it)

What if I didn't have my credit card on me...? What if I didn't have the $313 to leave for the holding fee...? One of us is out of a vehicle for the day...?

So.... from the not-mentioned $250 deposit, to the filthy car (AND store), and not charging the car to the card I wanted it on, I was incredibly disappointed with Enterprise. And this wasn't even the first time... that's the worst part.

I figure arguing with him is no use. After all, this wasn't his fault. The original employee we spoke to should have mentioned the fee.

This Enterprise will not go the extra mile for you... actually they won't do ANYTHING for you customer service wise. This location is run like a frat house. When you come in they act as if you disrupted their fun. The "manager" Alex is the same as the slacking employees, if not encouraging this behavior. Don't even think about asking questions about the final bill, you will not gen an answer. Go somewhere else that is not run like a frat house

Ummm.... isn't that was a reservation* is for...?

I ask him if I can use my credit card for the holding fee, but my debit card for the rental cost (because I always forget I have a balance on that card and then end up with late payments), and he said, "Sure, we'll call you before the transaction goes through and get your debit card number from you then."

My dad and I stopped into their Queensbury location to get some information to secure the rental that I'd pick up in Saratoga Springs the next day. The gentleman that helped us explained the difference in car sizes and the appropriate rental costs associated with them, and set up the reservation. For a full size car, I think we were quoted 50 or 55 dollars for the day.
