We cannot say enough good things about the team at Lily & David Fine Jewellers. Their staff is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We had such a positive experience purchasing our wedding bands as well as resizing/bonding our rings and setting a ring into a necklace pendant. It goes without saying that they will getting our business for many years to come!! Highly recommended!

After about 45 minutes of looking with Michael's help and information, we found an engagement ring and two bands we felt really fit us, slightly outside of our budget after the sale discount was applied, which was 3k.

2nd trip was to pick up bands. My fiancé's band fit well and he is happy with it.

The other reviews mentioned here seem to be people just trying to get out there frustration with a review. It is an honest mistake to call someone a friend or boyfriend/girlfriend if you had corrected them I am sure they would have apologized for the error. People are not mind readers. And as far as leaving items for repairs in the area they are one of the only places that do repairs on site. Take your piece to a chain store and they need to ship you priceless piece out to do anything to it. Taking far longer than lily and David. Also if there is an error and the jeweler is in they normally can fix that day. They do have millions of dollars of pieces in the store and if you cannot trust them with your piece for a few days then you have some trust issues.

After our initial trip to purchase our 1st trip back was to pick up my engagement ring, which was great. It came in quickly and fit well.

Even after all my experience with Lily and David I still do shop around for jewelry but they always get my business because of the quality pieces they sell for reasonable prices with friendly staff.

I walked into the store and was greeted by a "man" approximately 65 years old. I explained to him that I would like to have a watch engraved. He asked to see the watch and took it into the back (#1 red flag). He came back out and stated that the jeweler told him that she will engrave it for $20 but would need 3 days and it will be ready by 5 pm on a Friday. I asked if I could bring it back for an appointment. He said no, as it is the holidays. I stated that I completely understand, but I'm not leaving the watch there. He asked "what, you don't trust me?" I stated "I don't trust anyone." He handed me back the watch and said "Good luck with your $450 watch, and I'll have good luck with my multi million dollar business" as he held his arms out to show the cases. He immediately stormed into the back as I was saying that I'll be sure to tell everyone about my experience and how I'm glad I didn't leave the watch with a condescending, disrespectful "business". He doesn't deserve 1 star.

Our overall experience was ok. We came to Lily and David's from a friends recommendation. They were highly recommended due to their superior customer service. They were having a sale as well so we figured we would go take a look.

My band is where the trouble came in. First my fiancé was sent home with a white gold band that did not at all fit my finger with my engagement ring which was yellow gold. This was pretty disappointing.

I have been taking my business to Lily and David for roughly 5 years of which my girlfriend now wife has been showered with fine jewelry. I have purchased a engagement ring, necklace for my mother and wife wedding bands and have used there repair services and engraving services. All I can say were great any time there was an issue they immediately apologized and remedied the issue at no charge to us. They are by far the best jewelry store in the Saratoga area if you are looking for fine jewelry. They offer financing for there pieces which I used. Much like any store you must pay off before your promotional interest rate expires. My engagement ring was my first purchase from them. I struggled to find something really nice from the other chain jewelry stores. Nothing really said wow. I ended up going with a loose diamond and selecting my own setting. Truly a one of a kind piece. I was very worried for how much I spent that it would not look as nice as the price. However my worries were in vain as the beauty of the ring far surpasses the price I paid. We got our wedding bands together from here too and they offered free engraving with the purchase and half off on one of the bands or 40% of the total which ever was more. They also rebuffed her engagement ring at no cost too right before the wedding. Which they call a "spa day" for the ring. It came out looking brand new after that "spa day" and was much more than a standard cleaning. All throughout my experiences I can say I have worked with just about all of there staff and they always go out of their way to help or even just say hi when they see you walking around the mall.

Jewelers can tell you they go "above and beyond" to satisfy your needs. No one will hold up to that statement like Mike does at Lily and David's. We purchased our wedding and engagements rings there and receive follow up calls to ensure everything is going well. We had a diamond feel loose on the engagement ring and Mike was able to re-cast the ring at no charge. We will continue to purchase all jewelry from Lily and David's as they truly go above and beyond to keep us as a customer.

4th trip- I came to pick it up in a little under a week, it was gold but still too small. The sales associate handed me the ring, no packaging and said "Here is your ring." It was a bit odd to me that they wouldn't box it up. I tried it on, he told me it looked fine to him but that I should be happy with it. After consulting a female employee we definitely agreed my finger looked like a sausage. It was difficult to get off and my finger was swelling with it on. He said they would size it up and have it ready in a few days.

3rd trip- I brought it back, they apologized said they messed up a letter in the code. They re ordered & expedited the shipping.

5th trip- Today I came in for the third time to pick up this wedding band. I'm happy it fits and matched my engagement ring. I feel these are pretty basic expectations.

Luckily we were not in any sort of time crunch but I still personally feel customer service was lacking, no one really seemed to care all that much about the inconvenience for me to keep needing to return to the store which sucked some joy out of this experience. Annoying and inconvenient aren't really words I thought I'd associate with this type of purchase.
