Do NOT bring your family into this store. Then female clerk Ian extremely rude. I stopped in with my mother and my son to buy treats for our family dog's birthday. We were never greeted. We browsed the treats and were never once asked whether we needed assistance. Then all of a sudden, the clerk begins to rudely scold my son who had found his way to the weight scale and like any 5 year old would, began to put something onto it. I didn't see him do it or I would have corrected him myself. I don't write reviews often but I felt this woman's tone and attitude towards a small child deserved this unfavorable review. When I intervened and took the doggy toy from my son I asked "where did this come from?" And yet again, the store clerk responded with a rude tone saying "I don't know, you need to ask him." I have no problem with the clerk asking my son not to touch the scale. I do take issue with her rudeness and lack of compassion towards a small child. Aside from that, the store itself has seen its better days. It smells moldy and musty. The pastry cabinet doesn't look particularly cleanly and with the bad vibes from the clerk, it's not worth the overpriced but subpar experience and merchandise. Your pet and your family deserve better. We immediately walked out of the store without making a purchase. I'm sure we aren't the first and I'm sure that's the reason the store is unkept in appearances and doesn't meet the standard of a posh shop for dogs and their owners. Go elsewhere.
She was so rude. The woman did not say a word when I asked a question or just talked to her.
I've been working with Sloppy Kisses for a while now and they've always been a really great customer with a really nice selection of treats.
Same as all the other bad reviews... I used to have great interactions at sloppy kisses, but I will never go there again. I went in with my dog and was barely greeted by the blonde woman behind the counter. She watched us walk around the store, and my dog sniffed a toy. She said "if your dog does that again, you're going to have to buy whatever she touches." I asked her why and she claimed it was "for hygiene reasons". It's not like I let my dog chew on it? I had never heard of this rule before, not sure if it's new management or she is just trying to ruin the business. Definitely not a pet-friendly place anymore. Such a shame...
My wife and I were walking around saratoga with our dog and decided to stop into this establishment. Upon walking in, everything looked nice.. but the woman working never greeted us and then proceed to follow us around the store as if we were going to steal something. We were letting our dog sniff some of the toys to see if she liked any of them, at that point the woman working said to us "you can't put the toy in your dogs mouth." Our dog hated every toy we put in front of her and she never even made a move as if she was going to try and put it in her mouth. If I could've given this place less than a 1 star I would. I highly recommended walking down the street like we did to the place called "Stinky Dog." That place is amazing.
