Great place for DIY types. You should have some idea of what you need .
I was dropping off used household batteries for recycling and was told they only recycle battery packs for rechargeable tools. I said where am I supposed to take them. He said I don’t know, put them in the trash. I don’t think this is the message Home Depot wants to provide. Please put in place a program to recycle household batteries.
WARNING: Do not shop here. The manager should not be in a management position, not to mention customer service. He doesn't have the skills to interact with customers. He isn't helpful in anyway and is very, very rude. I have never had such a hateful experience as I did with him. His attitude has made it so that from now on I will always shop at Tractor Supply and never at any Home Depot. The corporate office at The Home Depot should take a long hard look at this manager.
Taylor in the Paint Dept. a the Saratoga Springs, NY store was very helpful with a complicated calculation. A variety of paint sheens and colors, some mixed in oddly shaped rooms, made it very difficult. He asked us all the right questions and carefully figured out the quantities of each type. We were very impressed with his helpfulness and knowledge. Having the opportunity to interact with 3 other HD employees we were treated courteously and helped with whatever we needed. Very pleased with our Home Depot staff!
Just cancelled our appointment for the day which we had taken the day off work for. Notice was not given in time to untake the time off so now we've both wasted the day off. Highly unprofessional.
