We got the Pork plate with 2 sides. The mac and cheese is one of the best I've ever had. We got so much pork that we were able to bring some home with us. This is a true find. The chef is a true talent!!!!
This is a large supermarket with a pretty good selection. Prices are so so. But, there seems to be the expectation among the cashiers that the customer bag his or her groceries. Baggers are infrequent (there's often one, but that's far from enough when you have 5, 6, 7, or more lanes open. ) Cashiers have groused to me about customers who don't bag.
This Price Chopper was amazing. I wish all Price Choppers were like this one. It looks the same from the outside but once you go in there is beer on tap to go. Ready made food, organic food, macrobiotic foods, so many more choices, etc. and clean. Nice staff too.
The brisket, pulled pork and ribs are actually cooked on a smoker!!!!! When we got there, the chef (I wish we had asked his name...he was incredibly friendly and helpful) told us that the brisket (cooked 14 hours!)had already sold out. If it was as spectacular (I don't offer that word easily) as the pulled pork, I'd be standing in line the next day.
Friendly staff and good service. The particular store I visited was in Saratoga Springs NY band did not have a reward card. They allowed me to use a courtesy card.
I enjoy shopping there and have found it to be clean. The cashier's are very helpful and friendly. I recommend this store to everyone who goes food shopping, I also get discounts from my Advantage Card.
