Just called around to the other banfield hospitals in the area and no one could get us in before friday, but Chelsea was very helpful and considerate and worked to get us in a time that worked for us. Highly recommend!

They take great care of my Leia! Helped with her seasonal allergies, gave tips and medicine. She's always so happy to see them!

The Dr. was wonderful and took her time with both of my dogs. I have also had to ask them to fax my pet records to several places since leaving the area and they have always sent them cheerfully and promptly. I absolutely recommend the facility as a top notch whole-package practice.

I made an appointment for my cat to get her rabies booster and as this was her first time with Bantfield Pet Hospital in Saratoga Springs, I brought her complete vaccination record. I was told that all of her vaccines were on track, and that she did not need any vaccines. This seemed very strange and I insisted that her record be double-checked. I was told , again, that my cat needed no vaccines, so I returned home. On a second trip to Bantfield, I requested a vaccination certificate to confirm that especially her rabies vaccines were on track, since we are travelling internationally and this is one of the Canadian border requirements. I was told that only Bantfield Latham issues such certificates and that I would need to travel with my cat to Latham. As I reviewed her vaccination record myself, again, I confirmed that my cat indeed needs a rabies booster... I am now making an appointment elsewhere, where the same office applies vaccinations AND issues vaccination certificates. I do not recommend Bantfield Hospital, Saratoga Springs, for the deficiency of their services and the confusion between two basic and routinely vaccines: my cat's 3-year FVRCP (no need of a booster) and the yearly rabies vaccine!!

People seems nice but do not follow up on any blood test for your pets. My pet had an important blood test done and no one called to follow up. I called to only find out that something went wrong with the shipment to the lab. However no one even checked to see why results had not been received in over a week. Then I bring my pet back for blood work. Again I have to call a week or so later and they supposedly didn’t receive the results yet. However when this same test was done at my vet where we use to live, the results were always available within 3-5 days. So, I wait again to only have to call back again and find out that the result came in and they are waiting for vet to read them. Ok, so maybe we are getting somewhere. No, I don’t hear from them and have to call back again. Now, I am told that the vet that treated my animal will not be in until next Monday and I have to wait until that particular Vet gets back into office. Ok, so I call Monday and guess what!!!! The vet isn’t in but the results are here and the vet will be in on Tuesday!!!! Wow, last time I saw there were more than one Vet in that office and I only had one appointment to try this place out to see if it would be a good fit since we moved. This is crazy. So if there is something serious going on with my pet’s blood work, it doesn’t seem priority to this clinic.. perhaps this place is good for shots and that’s it, because caring for the welfare of animals doesn’t seem priority!!!
