Great friendly and reliable place to bring your car for servicing! I have always steered away from dealerships in the past thinking it was more expensive but I found them are highly competitive. Purchased my car in Latham but that's too far to drive for service. Joe the manager at Wilton Toyota and staff are on top of everything that goes on there. I needed to do some shopping and one of the guys said the loaner car was out. Joe the manager stepped in and had them drop me off and pick me up so I could shop. I had cancelled and appt. then rescheduled but had the wrong day down for a new appt. but when I showed up they still were able to accommodate me. I've had my oil changes here since purchasing my car and they are not pushing with cross selling on other items. They just did my brakes (they use good quality brake pads not cheap ones that need free replacing but charge for labor like other companies) which they wanted me to do 10,000 miles ago but I declined. I wait until they are scrapping since the rotors always have to be replaced now a days. Pricing is very competitive! Very happy with New Country in Wilton and would highly recommend going there!
I just bought a car with Dan Miller and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had and I've bought quite a few cars in my life. I felt respected the entire time. When I said that I loathed the after sale meeting with the finance guy and the super hard sell of all the insurance and coatings package, Dan ensured that I did not have to suffer through a hard sell. When my husband came with me to close the deal, Dan continued to treat me with respect, as the one in charge of the deal. I have had dealers in the past ignore me once my husband shows up -- but Dan continued to conclude the deal treating me as the buyer. I appreciate that. They even offered a reasonable amount on my trade in and I didn't have to haggle for what I felt a fair minimum was. I highly recommend Dan Miller of New Country Toyota. Note: this is our third car purchased from a New Country dealership, and the second car purchased at this dealership. The experience with Dan was far better than the other two experiences - which weren't bad, admittedly.
Very pleased with this dealership's service. Upfront pricing, no surprises. Car done when expected. I have an 04 Lexus I inherited from my parents and they have a tech who knows how to keep this old lady running! Service writer makes things very clear at beginning, so I can compare pricing if I need to. Bought tires recently, they matched the local tire store price.
I would not advise doing business with this Dealership. Looked at a "Certified" Rav4. Vehicle had worn tires & one tire had a nail in it which no one there seemed to know about...kind of made me wonder what OTHER items were overlooked. The solution they offered was to repair the hole???....Like something out of a sitcom, you can't make this stuff up.
The Trade in amount was super low and everything was dictated to me like they carved the numbers in stone. At Lia Nissan it was the exact opposite. Still got a Rav4, negotiated a fair price, got twice as much for my trade in and best of all, they don't have nails in the tires at Lia. Don't let dealerships fool you into thinking they can't negotiate...that's exactly what they want you to believe.
