Took my car here for an oil change. Realized later after my low oil pressure light came on that they never tightened the oil filter and I had been leaking oil the entire time. I had literally been driving my car for who knows how long with no oil in it. I don't need to tell you what that does to a motor. Just had to pay for another oil change. I went here against my better judgement after hearing so many horror stories about their service. I will never bring my car back to a jiffy lube and I will be sure to share this experience with everyone I know. If there is damage to my engine because of this I will be holding them responsible.
Really liked this place a couple of years ago but now they're too busy to adequately accommodate the high number of customers. Used to be in-and-out but in the last year an hour's wait has become typical. Also they NEVER remember to put the mileage sticker in the corner of the windshield after an oil change.
Nothing "jiffy" about it- I have never had an oil change that took less than an hour. I have tried to go at different times of day, yet the service is always slow. I've been a customer for years but I am now going the length of changing my own oil because this place is so inconvenient (unless you don't mind sitting in a waiting room for over an hour at least). My last oil change took an hour and a half last week.
Technically I really can't rate their service because they were unable to change the oil in my 4runner. They claimed there is a metal plate over the oil pan that they could not remove without stripping the bolts. I have had the oil changed in this vehicle at Warren Tire and Marty Smith's Garage with no issues. I will stick with the locals from now on.
Friendly staff, efficient service.. not pushy at all.. I look forward to coming back.
