Red Robin is my favorite restaurant: amazing burgers, amazing fries. But this PARTICULAR restaurant was horrid. When we were seated, the table and benches hadn't been cleaned and were full of crumbs. My husband and I hate to cause trouble or complain, so we just wiped it off ourselves. We were seated by the bar, which was entirely empty as was the room we were in. Yet our waitress was out of sight the majority of the time. When she came to take our orders, she awkwardly sat down beside me on the bench and I had to scoot over to make room for her. I mentioned that I was going to be using my red royalty card to receive a BOGO offer. She insisted that I show her the email I got, then she took my phone (unlocked) and passed it around to two other employees! Finally, a man brought it back. But I felt extremely uncomfortable about that. My husband only received 7 fries on his plate (we don't normally count fries, but we did that time because there were practically NONE there!). Also, his water was empty and he asked our waitress for a refill. She never returned. So he called "Sir?" to a manager nearby, who continued walking by our table.
There were employees milling around, laughing, hugging each other and even sitting at the bar and eating fries. I understand that we came at a down time, but if you have nothing to do, go to the break room and be annoying, don't parade around in front of customers who aren't being served well.
First time ever and it was awesome. The burgers were amazing and the wait staff was pleasant.
$6.99 Burger's and bottomless fries is a better deal than McDonald's or Burger King. I always drink water with lemon (no charge), not because I'm cheap, but because I really don't like soda. I give 4 stars though, because the last time I was there, the "hostess" was very rude. She seemed very inconvenienced because we did not want to sit at the bar. She did not want to be bothered wiping a table or finding someone else to do it. There were plenty of other tables that didn't need to be cleaned. I really don't know what her problem was. Since then, I haven't felt very comfortable going there.
We went here for our first time and we were very very disappointed. First of all our app I guess never got put in and then the manager says he is going to take it off the bill, witch is great but we never got it to begin with so then we asked for it after our meal came out and they were kind of rude about us asking, then my husband ordered a burger that was know for have caramelized onions and never got the onions and when we brought it up the manager asked if we wanted the onions.. Uh no because this meal is just a head ache now... also my daughter got pizza with fries and got maybe 6 or 7 fries and when we asked for more fries again more rudeness. Yup I am not happy at all with our visit.
Great food. The desserts are great, but sometimes they run out. Serving can be a little bit slower sometimes.
When we finished our meal, our waitress brought us our bill, and walked away, without saying a word.
