It is because of Chauvin Family Dentistry (specifically Dr. Vu) that I have a basic knowledge of dental procedures, a cavity free mouth and a constant team of health care professionals that will consistently make sure that I am as healthy as I can be. Deeper than this however, I have overcome my fear of the dentist chair. These professionals have showed me that they care and are concerned with my personal fears as a human being. This office and practice as a whole has done much more than just attend to my teeth.
I worked personally with Dr. Vu and her assistant for approximately seven visits. These two ladies are the most incredible people I have ever met within the field of health care. Constantly I felt as though I was valued and cared for as a patient. Dr. Vu took the time to explain procedures and invested a lot of time in making sure that I was comfortable and educated on every little detail. They quickly learned that I was a little "baby" and even provided me with headphones and music which always seemed to calm me down :).
I called and was quickly seen for my first appointment. I was greeted by Ellen, the receptionist, who was a breath of fresh air. Little did I know that Ellen would get to know me personally and support me throughout all my remaining visits. My first visit to the office was a quick one as they referred me to Root Canal Experts in Clifton Park to begin my journey towards having much healthier teeth. After getting some root canal work done, I was ready to return to Chauvin Family Dentistry for a long list of fillings.
I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE. You will be endlessly grateful for selecting these professionals.
I think it is most important to start off by saying that although I love it here, I ABSOLUTELY (typically) hate the dentist. Growing up I avoided the dentist at all costs. I hopped around from place to place constantly seeking an experience that would change my mind. This exact time last year I ran into an incident that would no longer allow me to escape the dentist. Being a new resident, I was recommended by a close friend to try out Chauvin Family Dentistry. Although I was nervous, I learned quickly that tooth pain doesn't go away until you solve the problem.
